So that's how it all began.
We enjoyed working together so much that we decided we couldn't wait until Christmas 2018 to do it again! So we're planning to hold events and to visit fairs throughout this year, as a collective enterprise. First up is a proper planning meeting, so long as the snow doesn't scupper the plans! There are already some dates in place, where one or other of us are already booked to attend events and some tentative dates and venues pencilled in.
Exciting (& busy!) times ahead!
The Christmas Collective came about when, during a business women's network meeting (called WRENS) a couple of us got to discussing the Christmas fairs we were going to be doing. And, as happens when a group of creative minded women get together to chat, we very quickly dreamt up a plan where we and do something a little bit different.
We would borrow a holiday cottage for a weekend, style all of our work together, so that it wasn't 'just another craft fair' but a whole new shopping experience a Christmas Emporium of lovely things.
